Introduction to Shaders (GLSL)

Eliza Struthers-Jobin

2.30pm - 4.30pm
Friday 3rd February 2023
Eagle Wharf (Teaching Lab)
Free. Entry limited to ticket holders.

This workshop is a (very) brief introduction to coding shaders using GLSL. Together we will explore how to use the GPU to create visual compositions using a live coding environment. Live coding will allow us to get started fast, and to see the output of our code in real time. Over the 2 hours we have together, we'll go over the basics of the language and a few tools that can be particularly fun to play with for first time coders. No previous experience coding is necessary for this workshop.
